Tzores and Mazel Tov at Páva Street - Everyday life and fresh starts - a story of a synagogue and its community

The Budapest Holocaust Memorial Centre had planned for a long time, and in 2020 finally achieved its professional goal of scientifically processing the history of the synagogue and its community, and presenting it to the general public in an exhibition. Our goal was to create an exhibition that gives a modern and honest - not idealizing or heroizing - image, which at the same time vividly presents the strenuous life of this community int he 19th and 20th century.
